![]() ![]() Lizards are great, you have nice strong guys to punch with, and those stunty fellows as desperation as you should only need to make 3 dodges to get through an Elf screen. Orcs, you can probably punch through part of the D and hope they fail some dodges to make it easier on you - 1/6 and 1/36 is a bit rare, but it will happen. ![]() So, if you are facing a good coach, your offensive drives are gonna be tough playing as Brets (like basically every match up with the current game). ![]() I threw 3 intercepts which needed 6 plus rolls by an orc in a single game so it will definitely go the other way sometime in the future.I find that Dark Elf teams excel in defense, and their offense is not even close to the power of Wood Elves and High Elves, though, like you said, they are still Elves and AG4 can do many a great thing. It sounds like this guy was just rolling really good that game and it shouldn't go that way too often. Foul war dancers whenever you get the chance after you have done the important things on your turn. Tackle/diving tackle/wrestle are the most useful skills to screw their war dancers and if you keep their war dancers out of the action they will have problems on offense and defense. Sure hands - for your ball carrier this stops the most common way the ball(leaping strip ball war dancer) is turned over in bad spots. While war dancers are godlike in creating turnovers it only really happens when people spend too much of their time bashing my random players all over the pitch instead of supporting their ball carrier. Their team only received 2 times so you should not have lost 5-1 unless you were playing risky on offense. I'm 8-2 on my wood elves with my two loses coming from excessive injuries/KO in the first 4 turns. What TV are you depends what skills they have and what you have? The first half will be messy and you will be hanging on for dear life but if you can keep the score close, keep your guys up and knock out a wardancer or two, you should be able to take over in the second half. Make sure you can get your bashes in especially with guys that have mighty blow.īig thing is don't panic when they score, keep playing your game, slow and steady on offense remove his wardancers and maybe catchers if they are skilled up and protect the ball. Spread out and make him take rolls and don't give him favorable blocks, if you can make him burn his rerolls then you are succeeding. On defense I usually just try to get a little pressure on his ball carrier and force him to score quickly until I have a significant man advantage. If you can remove the wardancers from the game it makes it a lot easier. They are probably the only team that won't be out bashing you so you can risk the fouls and with them jumping into your guys should be near 100% foul success rate. Have the ball carried with someone with sure hands to negate strip ball and make sure that if he leaps a war dancer in to your ball carrier you will be able to surround him and foul him on the next turn. The biggest thing I have found is to make sure to cage up when you have the ball, you are not faster than them so you need to play more conservatively. Wood Elves have been my hardest match up with Skaven so far but I have had some success. ![]()
